 要旨：Alligator weed Alternanthera philoxeroides is an invasive plant of SouthAmerican origin that has spread to many countries around the world, including Japan, where it has become invasive. During this talk, I shall describe the mode of introduction and spread, impacts and control of alligator weed in Australia, New Zealand & the USA. Finally, I shall discuss the potential for successful biological control of alligator weed in Japan.

要旨：Alligator weed Alternanthera philoxeroides is an invasive plant of
